South King County Area Narcotics Anonymous
NA Quote 2
Help for addicts begins only when we are able to admit complete defeat. This can be frightening, but it is the foundation on which we build our lives.
NA Quote 1
Our message is that an addict, any addict, can stop using drugs, lose the desire to use, and find a new way to live.
NA Quote 4
The newcomer is the most important person at any meeting, because we can only keep what we have by giving it away.
NA Quote 5
The only requirement for membership is the desire to stop using. We have seen the program work for any addict who honestly and sincerely wants to stop.
NA Quote 6
In our experience, no addict who has completely surrendered to this program has ever failed to find recovery.
NA Quote 3
Recovery begins with surrender. From that point, each of us is reminded that a day clean is a day won.
What is the NA Program?
Narcotics Anonymous (NA) is a non-profit fellowship of people who suffer from the disease of addiction. We meet on a regular basis to help each other stay clean and share our experience, strength, and hope. If you think you might have a drug problem, please call our Helpline, or come to one of our meetings.

“We are not interested in what or how much you used or who your connections were, what you have done in the past, how much or how little you have, but only in what you want to do about your problem and how we can help. The newcomer is the most important person at any meeting, because we can only keep what we have by giving it away. We have learned from our group experience that those who keep coming to our meetings regularly stay clean.”
—Basic Text 6th Edition, Pg. 9

Anyone may join us, regardless of age, race, sexual identity, creed, religion or lack of religion”
